I'm looking for someone to take over my lease in my 2br/2ba apartment next spring.
Each roommate signs a separate lease, so the rent is $585 EACH. This includes all utilities: heat/AC, internet (and modem), cable (with HBO), water, and electric. The rent also includes use of all of the complex's amenities, as well as neighboring Chapel Ridge's amenities. We took over someone's lease last January and it's really no different from signing your own lease.
The 2nd floor apartment has 2 spacious bedrooms with large closets, full beds, desks, dressers, and private bathrooms. W/D is in unit; also has a dishwasher, garbage disposal, and fairly new appliances. There is a large living area with two couches and a dining area with a table and 4 chairs. Also has a large porch with a storage closet. Apartment is carpeted throughout.
The apartment complex's main office has a computer station with free printing, DVD collection, gym, and tanning bed. Surrounding the office are a pool, tennis court, and basketball court. This unit is located right between the Chapel View and Chapel Ridge main offices, and Chapel Ridge boasts all of the same amenities, in addition to a volleyball court.
Cats and certain breeds of dogs are welcome!
There is a free parking space for every bed, right outside the apartment door. Unit is also feet from a bus stop serviced by the NS, T, T-saferide/weekend, and A routes. Approx. a 10 minute bus ride to UNC, less than a 5 minute drive.
A new girl is moving into my roommates room around Thanksgiving. She is a graduate student who says she will be very busy and that anyone living with her would basically have the place to herself.
