I'm a second-year grad student looking for a female roommate to share my two-bedroom townhouse located off of East Franklin Street in Chapel Hill. It's less than 2 miles from campus and on multiple bus routes, including D, F, DX, Cl, and M, although it's definitely possible to walk or bike (I walk most days during the summer). Close to University Mall and other shopping centers as well as downtown Chapel Hill; easy access to 15-501 and 40. The apartment complex has a pool and tennis courts, and there is a running/biking trail too. The complex is quiet, mostly grad students/young professionals.
The townhouse has two floors and is mostly furnished (except for your bedroom), but there is space for more living room furniture if you have it. The second floor has two bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom, and there is a half bathroom downstairs as well. The bedroom is fairly large (15.5 x 10.5) with a ceiling fan and plenty of closet space. The apartment has a small patio in the back and a fenced-in storage area, and there is also a washer/dryer and dishwasher.
I am pretty quiet, organized and responsible. I don't smoke or like to have parties but I do enjoy cooking and baking.
Rent is $525/month including utilities (electricity, water, basic cable, internet). No pets, please. The landlord is very accessible and attentive to any repairs/maintenance that needs to be done.
