I have a beautiful room in a newly renovated mill house in Carrboro to be subletted for the 2012 Spring Semester and Summer, starting Jan. or Feb. It is $500 a month plus utilities (around $50), and it has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. It is located right next to the municipal parking lot on East Carr Street, which means it is safe (residential neighborhood) but in the heart of town! It is about a 5 minute walk to Weaver Street. It is right next to a bus stop that will take you to UNC (about 3 minute walk), or you can easily bike there on the path right next to our house. There is a great kitchen and seating area. The people next door are students at UNC as well, so you can meet new people (maybe have joint parties!). My roommate is a Junior at UNC-CH. Very easy-going, responsible and studious. I just got accepted to a study abroad program, or I would definitely be staying. I absolutely adore the house, and I know you will, too! Please e-mail be about any questions, or if you want pictures.
