I am looking for a female (preferably grad student or working professional) to rent a room in my apartment. The place is spacious, fully-furnished, 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath (both have toilets and sinks, one has a shower), close to UNC main campus (walking distance or a 5 minute bus ride), and very peaceful and clean. The location is just below the UNC hospitals at the intersection of Purefoy and S. Columbia. The complex is small and located in a lovely wooded area; the other tenants are all grad students or families; and the place is family-owned so the lease process is simple and maintenance response is very quick. Your spacious room has a bed, desk, bedside table, bookshelf, and lamps. It has a huge lighted walk-in closet. You would also basically have your own bathroom since the only thing you have to share with a roommate is the shower. The complex has mailboxes, bike racks, and laundry on-site. There is plenty of parking and a private walking path leading to campus. Your roommate would be a 24 year old female grad student who is very laid back, clean, and easy to get along with. She likes cooking, yoga, literature, and being outdoors. Rent is $350/month + ~$50/month for electric and internet. Water, sewage, and garbage pick-up are included in the rent price.
