The complex has a swimming pool, tennis court, on-site laundry, and free access to the fitness center at Rock Creek, a sister apartment complex. The area is central to grocery stores, restaurants, bars, etc. It is about a 10 minute bus ride to campus, and both the J and D routes run pretty frequently. You can also walk to campus in about 20-25 minutes. Rent is $400/month and utilities are about $75/month. (That's everything except cable because we don't currently subscribe to cable.) The apartment is furnished except for the open bedroom, and the kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots/pans, etc. (If you're in need of bedroom furniture, my old roommate is open to discussing selling hers.) The lease would be from January - May 27th with the option to extend the lease if we want to.
